Full-time Practice Instructor - Practical Midwifery Training

Join our training management team and support us from the earliest possible date, initially limited to two years with the option of a permanent extension.

Conducting targeted practical instructions for trainees in the various practical fields based on the current curriculum Ensuring achievement of statutory practical goals in the dual midwifery science degree program at the University of Lübeck, with regard to associated competency development Cooperative collaboration with the training management team, responsible UKSH staff and the midwifery science degree program Promoting practical orientation and participation in developing practical concepts and their continuous evaluation Participation in practical final examinations as a specialist examiner and taking on instruction days where you supervise several students in a group all day, as well as supervising students in the delivery room and on ward C.318 (postpartum and antenatal ward)

Completed training as a midwife or a completed university degree as a midwife Additional vocational pedagogical qualification with a minimum of 300 hours or a comparable qualification Practical professional experience and experience in supervising midwifery students or midwifery pupils Initiative, empathy, patience and reliability Enjoyment of communication and constructive cooperation with all professional groups involved in practical training
