Senior EMC Engineer, Heat Pump Development

At Vaillant Group you bring your expertise in electromagnetic compatibility to make heat pumps more powerful and safer.

• You are responsible for EMC-compliant design of innovative heat pump systems and ensure compliance with all relevant standards
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and coordination with module suppliers and neighbouring departments
• Support and further development of EMC tests in all project phases, including optimising test strategies and processes
• Analysis of test data and derivation of measures to improve EMC system performance
• Independent handling of complex work packages in international development projects and active communication with management
• You take technical leadership in complex development projects and work closely with suppliers and internal interfaces

• Qualification: Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, communications engineering or a comparable qualification (Bachelor/Master/Dipl.-Ing.)
• Experience: Several years of professional experience in EMC
• Know-how and skills: Analytical strength to assess and optimise coupling mechanisms and interference models
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. DIN EN 55014, DIN EN 61000) and confident use of EMC measurement and test equipment (network analyser, measuring receiver, generators)
• Experience in EMC process optimisation and knowledge of HVAC & R are a plus
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Team-oriented personality with initiative, organisational skills and a structured way of working
