In cooperation with Jade University of Applied Sciences, we offer you a dual study programme in Banking and Insurance Management (B.A.) starting 01.08.2027. The programme combines sound theoretical knowledge with varied practical assignments in our bank, allowing you to apply study content directly in everyday work, gain practical experience and take on responsibility early. The curriculum includes: Banking Business Administration and Bank Management, Financing, Accounting and Economics, Insurance Business and Insurance Management, Customer Advisory, Sales and Communication, Digitalisation and Legal Principles. The dual study programme at Jade University spans eight semesters (four years) and combines university studies with practical work in the company. Two qualifications with prospects: after about 2.5 years you take the exam to become a certified Bank Clerk. After four years you graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Banking and Insurance Management. Thus you acquire a recognised vocational qualification during your studies and simultaneously build a solid foundation for your further career. Your practice at Volksbank Jade-Weser: From day one you are part of our team and learn the diverse tasks of a modern regional bank. During practical phases you gain insights into areas such as: Service and Customer Advisory, Retail and Corporate Business, Investment and Pension Topics, Financing and Loans, Internal Departments and Operational Processes. You assist with account opening, learn about online banking, accompany advisory talks and work on individual financial solutions, gradually developing into a competent contact person for our customers.

You have or are about to obtain a good general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). You are interested in economic, financial and future-oriented topics. You enjoy dealing with people.
