• Install & wire: You mount sensors, actuators and control components on industrial plants – from the control cabinet to field wiring.
• Program & parameterize: You learn how to program programmable logic controllers (PLC) – e.g. with Siemens S7 or TIA Portal – and how to automate processes.
• Measure & control: You work with measuring systems for pressure, temperature, flow or level – and ensure everything stays in the green zone.
• Maintain & service: You carry out regular inspections, replace defective components and ensure the plant runs – safely and efficiently.
• Working in a chemical environment: You learn how to work in explosion-protected areas, which safety regulations apply and how to handle hazardous substances – with responsibility and common sense. At least intermediate school leaving certificate (FOR) – ideally with good grades in math and physics. Technical understanding, manual dexterity, team spirit and good abstract reasoning skills – these are the perfect foundations for a successful start in the electronics apprenticeship, where complex systems are not only built but also controlled safely and smartly.
