Apprenticeship as Building Construction Specialist - Masonry Work

Starting 1 August 2027, we offer a 2-year apprenticeship as a Building Construction Specialist - Masonry Work (f/m/d) at our Wolff Hoch- und Ingenieurbau Saarbrücken branch, with the prospect of a 1-year follow-up apprenticeship as a Mason (f/m/d). Your vocational school lessons take place at TGBBZ Neunkirchen and the practical training at the AGV Bau Saar training center in Saarbrücken.

You are responsible for setting up construction sites in Saarland and planning work processes. In doing so, you also learn to operate construction machinery. In addition to surveying buildings and parts thereof, erecting walls of various brick thicknesses is part of your area of responsibility. As a professional, you ensure the concreting of foundations, floor slabs, ceilings, walls, and other components, as well as the sealing of buildings against moisture. Every building is unique – taking into account the wishes and ideas of our customers, you install insulation materials for thermal, cold, sound, and fire protection. This is how your apprenticeship works: 1st & 2nd year: You start with basic and specialized vocational training in building construction. After two years, you take your first final exam and are already a qualified building construction specialist. 3rd year: You specialize fully in concrete and reinforced concrete construction and complete your apprenticeship with the journeyman's certificate.

You have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate with particular strengths in math and German and enjoy manual work.
