Service Technician for Construction Machinery and Equipment

We are looking for a service technician for construction machinery and equipment (m/f/d) for our Cologne site as soon as possible.

• Independent work in our workshop, responsible for all tasks in the repair, overhaul and maintenance of construction machinery and equipment, including larger repairs, e.g. on gearboxes, axles, engines, hydraulic cylinders, generators, pumps
• Computer-controlled analysis, diagnosis, calibration and correction of electronic faults in controllers and control groups
• Identifying defects and damage, determining the causes of faults and fixing them independently through repairs and adjustments, on both vehicle components and vehicle electrics
• Responsibility for assembly work, fitting and conversion of new machines, and carrying out modifications specified by the manufacturer
• Determining the spare parts needed for repairs

• Completed training as a mechanic or mechatronics technician with a focus on agricultural and construction machinery technology / construction machinery mechatronics / commercial vehicle mechanics, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Some initial work experience and enjoyment in getting technically demanding units and equipment running.
• Enjoyment of teamwork; you like to pitch in and your colleagues can rely on you.
• Independent work and a reliable, self-reliant, customer- and service-oriented way of working.
• Class B driving licence. Additional permits such as forklift and crane licences are an advantage.
• Confident use of common MS Office programs.
