Infrastructure Architect

ADAC IT Service GmbH is ADAC's central IT service provider. We are looking for a dedicated Infrastructure Architect to design and further develop the architecture of the in-house IT services, focusing on modern, secure and scalable workplace services in a hybrid cloud environment. Full-time, permanent.

• You analyze existing architectures and requirements, develop sustainable, scalable solutions and support the implementation of complex IT solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.
• You develop a scalable, automated and operationally reliable target architecture for ADAC's Modern Workplace, focusing on Windows as a Service, Microsoft 365, endpoint management (devices, clients, mobile), identity and access management and security.
• Together with Enterprise Architecture, you design patch management and software distribution to optimize processes and develop architecture standards, design principles and roadmaps.
• You develop concepts for automating provisioning and operations (self-service, lifecycle, provisioning).
• You ensure compliance with security standards (Zero Trust) and regulatory requirements and develop approaches for securing modern workplaces and devices, as well as developer client concepts for hardened clients.
• You advise projects and departments on implementing workplace solutions from concept to handover into operations.
• You evaluate new technology trends in the workplace area (e.g. AI/Copilot)

• You bring experience in Modern Workplace / Digital Workplace architecture and have solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity & access management and workplace security; automation is a plus.
• You have experience designing scalable platform architectures, an understanding of cloud and service-oriented models, and the ability to turn complex requirements into clear architecture decisions.
• You are a structured, communicative person, work collaboratively with different roles in IT and business departments, take initiative, are a team player and have good English skills.
• You also know architecture or IT service frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and are interested in new developments such as digital sovereignty or AI in the workplace (e.g. Copilot).
