Working Student Actuarial Mathematics

As part of the adesso group, adesso insurance solutions GmbH bundles its own product portfolio for the insurance market and drives innovative software solutions in this field. The team consists of over 500 dedicated colleagues. As a working student you work with actuarial methods and the Java-based policy administration software.

• Analyze, describe and document actuarial methods, and model and program them in the Java-based policy administration software
• Document internal training content and prepare examples for better understanding
• Use mathematical skills between requirements analysis and software development to further develop the policy administration software of the in|sure Ecosphere
• Support tariff design, calculation, modeling and testing when providing the example insurer Insuria

• Enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences in mathematics, actuarial science, financial mathematics or similar, with good academic results
• Strong affinity for IT and first experience with TeX / LaTeX
• First Java development know-how would be great
• Enjoy analyzing and programming complex algorithms
• Independent, communicative and creative way of working, confident manner and strong social skills
• Experience in actuarial mathematics is a plus
• Very good German skills (at least C1 level)
