Cook in our "rolling restaurant" on a mini-job basis

AKE-Eisenbahntouristik is a specialist tour operator for special train journeys, successfully established on the market for over 30 years. We are an owner-managed family business with a young, motivated team. Our portfolio includes day and multi-day trips with historic special trains within Germany and neighboring Europe. We place great value on our on-board catering. In the three dining cars of our nostalgic first-class train, where meals are still freshly prepared as in the "good old days", we serve up to 450 guests. The starting point for most journeys is our home station Cologne, where the train is also parked between assignments for preparation and follow-up. Our kitchen staff accompany day trips as well as the outward and return journeys of multi-day trips. Deployment days depend on the offered trips and can vary monthly. To support our kitchen team, we are looking for cooks (m/f/d) on a mini-job basis.

• Preparation and cooking of fresh meals for up to 450 people in the dining cars of our special train
• Goods receipt, storage, and quality control
• Ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness of the on-board kitchen

• Completed vocational training as a cook
