About this Apprenticeship
If you are passionate about gastronomy and love creating culinary delights, you are in the right place! In this key position you are responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes. As a cook at the Köln Marriott Hotel you work with fresh, regional ingredients and help develop innovative menus. You are part of a dynamic team in an international environment.
What You'll Learn
- You prepare fresh ingredients according to recipe or menu suggestion
- You cook and prepare high-quality menus and buffets precisely on time
- You try new dishes and find the best preparation method to delight guests
- You are responsible for culinary service of the conference and event business
- You handle all kitchen utensils safely and responsibly
- You ensure hygiene and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
- You train new employees and apprentices and organize training sessions
Requirements
- Very good teamwork skills and an eye for detail
- A positive attitude, open-mindedness and a friendly manner
- Appreciation for the products you process and a sense of standards
