Apprenticeship as Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist

Apprenticeship as a medical device reprocessing specialist at ALB FILS KLINIKUM in Göppingen. The three-year apprenticeship is conducted in cooperation with the Academy of the District Clinics Reutlingen (theory) and practical assignments at the clinic. It follows a dual model with alternating theory and practice phases.

Theoretical instruction: core tasks of medical device reprocessing, special knowledge of FMA, training and professional situation, legal and institutional frameworks. Practical fields: internships in anesthesia, operating room, technical service/medical engineering, business administration/commercial department. Final examination with written, oral, and practical parts.

Intermediate school leaving certificate or higher qualification / lower secondary school certificate + FKII / other qualifications upon application. Carefulness, sense of responsibility and hazard awareness, ability to concentrate, flexibility. Medical fitness certificate (doctor's note) after application, no entry in criminal record.

30 vacation days per calendar year, subsidy for Germany ticket, discounted housing on clinic campus, guidance by experienced practice instructors, very good takeover chances after apprenticeship.
