About this Apprenticeship
In our Katharina Kasper Home in the heart of Gangelt, older people in need of care live who are either physically and/or mentally impaired or have mental illnesses. The Katharina Kasper Home offers space for 93 residents on three living areas. Join us as a Daily Life Companion, Care Assistant (m/f/d) in part-time (65%) at our location in Gangelt.
What You'll Learn
- Implementation of the daily life companion concept
- Individual engagement of seniors
- Promotion of independence and social participation
- Cooperative care in interdisciplinary collaboration
Requirements
- Completed qualification according to the Care Staff Directive § 43b SGB XI (formerly § 87b SGB XI), consisting of a basic course, a 2-week care internship and an advanced course, with a total of at least 160 teaching hours
- Experience in dealing with older and care-dependent people
- Willingness to work shifts: 3 weeks early shift (08:00 - 12:30), 1 week late shift (14:00 - 18:30)
- 5.5 day week: every second Saturday duty
- Class B driver's license
What Alexianer offers
- Base salary according to AVR Caritas for a full-time position as a career starter at 2,857.60 € gross/month (plus allowances) with progression based on professional experience and qualification up to 3,030.22 € gross/month (plus allowances). Step increases occur automatically.
