Physiotherapist - Psychiatry

The Alexianer Center for Mental Health Aachen / Gangelt is looking for a full-time physiotherapist as soon as possible for the physiotherapy department at the Gangelt site. Christian values are combined here with first-class medicine, care and support.

• Compassionate and competent care and treatment of patients with mental illnesses
• Treating patients of the center as well as clients from other facilities of the company and from the staff
• Carrying out individual physiotherapy sessions and movement therapy group sessions
• Creating individual treatment plans based on medical prescriptions and treating according to the case and condition
• Documenting and adjusting therapy plans with the patients
• Contributing to new, innovative therapy concepts
• Working hours Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 16:00

• Completed training as a state-certified physiotherapist (m/f/d) or a university degree in physiotherapy, ideally with experience working with patients in psychiatry and neurology
• Completed MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) training and subject-specific qualifications are desirable
• Empathetic, very reliable and flexible personality with very good organisational skills
• Very good communication skills, commitment and a friendly, courteous manner
• Interdisciplinary and patient-oriented thinking and action
• Interest in working on new, innovative concepts in a multiprofessional team structure
