Occupational Therapist and Riding Therapist

In our occupational therapy practices, we support people of all ages who are limited in their ability to act due to chronic, acute, or repeatedly occurring illnesses. Our treatment focuses are the fields of neurology, orthopedics, geriatrics, psychiatry, and pediatrics. Together with our patients, we create individual therapy plans and work together to achieve the corresponding therapy goals. We are looking for you as an occupational therapist with the additional qualification of riding therapist (m/f/d) for our occupational therapy practice in Geilenkirchen and the further development of our riding therapy program at the Gangelt location.

• Independent performance of all occupational therapy treatment types: motor-functional treatment, sensorimotor-perceptive treatment, psychosocial-functional treatment, social skills training, brain performance training
• Determination of the care focus taking into account personal life experience, current life circumstances, and individual needs
• Professional and collegial cooperation with our service areas in integration assistance and work with relatives
• Therapy plan and report writing, professional documentation, and administrative tasks
• Individual and group therapy for our clients in the day structure
• Further development of our riding therapy program

• Completed training as an occupational therapist and further education as a riding therapist (m/f/d)
• You are an empathetic personality with a confident and self-assured demeanor, can maintain an appropriate proximity-distance relationship, and want to work in a goal-oriented and resource-oriented manner, and also have experience in handling horses
