About this Apprenticeship
As a working student (m/f/d) in software development within the Defense & Intelligence department (OPS DI), you will support our team in implementing modern software solutions in internal projects as well as customer projects. You will work with current methods such as Agile Development, DevOps and Continuous Integration/Delivery. Support in development and implementation of software components Collaboration in implementation of user interfaces according to specified designs Support in analysis, development and testing of applications Maintenance and creation of technical documentation Preparation of presentations and demos for developed features Support in administration and maintenance of development and test environments Participation in testing, bug fixing and reviews Collaboration in agile team Participation in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews

Requirements
- Enrolled student (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or comparable)
- Basic understanding of software architectures (Microservices, SOA)
- Confident handling of version and build tools (e.g. Git)
- Team-oriented, solution- and process-oriented way of working
- Very good German and English skills in word and writing (at least level C1)
- First practical or project experience in software development
- Knowledge in modern software development environments (e.g. MS Azure DevOps)
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Basic knowledge in network technologies and security standards
- First experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
