Apprenticeship as Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology at FIT Wattenheim

The 3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for energy and building technology at Autobahn GmbH is varied and diverse. You design and install electrical systems such as power supply, lighting, communication systems and fire alarm systems, and program home automation controls. You learn the practical side at FIT Wattenheim and the theory at the vocational school in Kaiserslautern or Ludwigshafen. The training ends with a HWK exam.

• At the Autobahn you also gain insight into operational and traffic systems such as ventilation, video surveillance, audio and fire alarm systems in tunnels and maintenance depots, as well as traffic control systems, weather stations and traffic counts along the motorways.
