• The training of road maintenance workers is diverse and varied. For example, you inspect roadways, guardrails and bridges for damage, repair and asphalt them. You also take care of green maintenance and ensure clear roads on our motorways in winter. Motorway without a driving licence? Not with us! That's why we pay for your driving licences of classes B (car), C and CE (truck with trailer) during your apprenticeship.

• Manual dexterity and technical understanding
• At least a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) or vocational training maturity with satisfactory grades in German, Mathematics and Physics/Technology or Natural Sciences
• Physical resilience for driving vehicles and for physical work outdoors in all seasons
