Civil engineer for structural inspection of bridges and tunnels on German autobahn network, responsible for inspection programs, tendering, and maintenance recommendations.

• As a structural inspection engineer (m/f/d) you are responsible for the inspection of engineering structures according to DIN 1076. You are responsible for drawing up the inspection program for durability, stability and load-bearing capacity of structures.
• You take over the engineering support of tenders as well as the awarding of structural inspections and special services to engineering offices, equipment suppliers and security companies.
• Furthermore, you develop recommendations for action for the preservation of structures.
• Your field of activity is rounded off by the function as a technical contact person for the branch offices of the Northwest branch regarding the condition assessment of structures and documentation of results.

• Optimal prerequisite for the position is a completed university degree in civil engineering or comparable knowledge, skills and relevant professional experience
• You have several years of professional experience in the supervision and inspection of engineering structures, especially in bridge construction
• Furthermore, you have knowledge of the relevant technical standards and regulations of road and civil engineering as well as in the awarding and execution of engineering services
• Desirable would be a valid VFIB certificate
• Ideally you have in-depth knowledge in the use of specialized software, e.g. SIB-BW, iTwo
• You possess a class B driver's license and willingness to drive a company vehicle
• Optimally you have a medical certificate G41
