Civil Engineer Planning Approval

To support the Planning department team, Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for a Civil Engineer (f/m/d) for planning approval as soon as possible.

• Advising the branch offices on questions of planning approval and quality assurance
• Providing expert support to planning engineers on infrastructure projects and taking part in hearing dates
• Responsible handling and management of planning approval procedures to obtain building rights
• Coordinating and supervising external engineering offices and expert consultants
• Coordination with authorities, public interest bodies, municipalities and other parties to the procedure
• Supporting interdisciplinary planning processes and helping with the award of engineering services

• Completed degree (Bachelor or Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure planning/transport, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in planning transport or infrastructure projects
• Sound knowledge of traffic and road planning and of obtaining building rights
• Comprehensive knowledge of planning, road, administrative and crossing law
• Fluent German skills
• Driving licence class B and willingness to travel on business within the branch area
• Practical knowledge of water management, environmental law and noise protection (desirable)
• Confident use of VESTRA and basic knowledge of CAD applications (desirable)
• Knowledge of the relevant technical rules and guidelines for road and civil engineering (desirable)
• Experience in managing external engineering offices and experts (desirable)
