• Auditing of plans subject to approval by DEGES in the sense of the sovereign administrative act
• Construction site inspections and performance of damage and defect analyses
• Examination and approval of structural designs and execution plans
• Creation, processing and updating of fundamental topics
• Management and control of specialist groups in the area of responsibility
• Participation in research and innovation topics

• Successfully completed scientific university studies (Master) in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or comparable qualification, technical knowledge and experience
• Many years of professional experience in bridge construction companies, engineering offices or in road construction administration with infrastructure projects and sound technical knowledge in the above-mentioned area of responsibility or comparable organizations
• Confident application of technical regulations and knowledge of construction contract law
• Sound knowledge of modern Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
• Very good German language skills in word and writing
• Willingness to travel regularly nationwide in Germany
