Engineer Structural Documentation

To support our team, we are looking for a parental leave replacement, initially limited to one year, as Engineer Structural Documentation (f/m/d) at the earliest possible date. A functioning highway infrastructure guarantees that Germany remains mobile. To keep it that way, we need your expertise as an engineer. Thousands of bridges, hundreds of tunnels, and countless ancillary facilities must be regularly inspected, maintained, and renewed. Traffic control and coordination of the operations service are also among the varied and exciting tasks of our employees.

• Supervision and maintenance of the database-based specialist application SIB-Bauwerke (Road Information Bank) for planning and monitoring all engineering structures in the branch area
• Management and maintenance of structure files according to DIN 1076
• Organization, preparation, and execution of digitization in existing stock and new construction projects
• Data handling and coordination between structure administrators (AdB), engineering offices, and construction companies
• Technical support for all users with read rights within the Northeast branch

• Completed university degree in civil engineering (Bachelor), preferably with a focus on structural engineering or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience
• At least two years of experience with the specialist application SIB-Bauwerke and its database structure
• Very good German language skills in word and writing (at least level C1)
• Good knowledge of relevant technical regulations, particularly Eurocodes and DIN technical reports
• Strong social and communication skills
