Engineer / Technical Consultant Construction Projects

To support the team in the Bridge Competence Center and Construction Engineering department, Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for a Technical Consultant (f/m/d) for construction projects as soon as possible, at the headquarters in Berlin or at the sites in Essen, Frankfurt am Main or Dresden. Pay grade: E14.

• Expert advice and support in planning and carrying out civil engineering projects
• Ensuring quality and technical standards in planning and construction
• Helping to further develop technical standards, processes and sustainable solutions
• Support with risk, schedule and cost assessments of construction projects
• Reviewing planning and execution documents and developing improvement suggestions
• Contributing to knowledge sharing and cooperation in working groups and committees

• Successfully completed university degree (Master's) in civil engineering (ideally focused on structural engineering/bridge construction) or comparable qualification, expertise and experience
• Several years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering, ideally in bridge planning and/or construction
• Several years of relevant professional experience in road construction, ideally in planning and/or construction
• Very good knowledge of technical regulations and standards in civil engineering and of planning and construction processes
• Experience in project management, scheduling and cost control in infrastructure or bridge construction
• Ideally experience with quality management systems in planning and construction
• Willingness to travel occasionally on business
