Engineer for Compensation and Replacement Measures

To support the team at the Güstrow branch office, environmental planning department, the Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for an engineer (f/m/d) for compensation and replacement measures as soon as possible. Pay follows pay group E11 under the MTV-Autobahn.

• Planning and managing new construction, maintenance and repair measures as well as compensation and replacement measures
• Independent preparation of tender documents
• Drawing up nature conservation plans, in particular Flora-Fauna-Habitat and bird protection impact assessments, special species protection assessments, landscape conservation accompanying plans and landscape conservation execution plans
• Developing task descriptions for planning services and formulating requirements for external engineering firms
• Monitoring compliance with contracts during construction in the role of client
• Preparing and carrying out acceptance and supplementary claim review under VOB/B, including assessment of claims
• Carrying out and coordinating efficiency checks and supervising third parties in the maintenance of compensation and replacement measures
• Preparing expert opinions on the supervised projects

• Completed university degree as Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or equivalent Bachelor's degree in landscape planning, landscape architecture, nature conservation and landscape management, or comparable knowledge, skills and relevant professional experience
• Good knowledge of nature conservation and environmental law (including the Federal Nature Conservation Act, state-specific nature conservation implementation acts, the Federal Soil Protection Act, the Federal Soil Protection Ordinance)
• Good knowledge of dendrology, botany, vegetation science, faunistics
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing (at least level C1 CEFR)
• Valid class B driving licence and willingness to travel within the branch area and nationwide
• Desirable: Good knowledge of the relevant legal bases in procurement, budget and fee law (including Federal Budget Code, HOAI, VgV, VOB, ZTV LA-StB, Construction Site Ordinance)
• Desirable: User knowledge of the specialist software iTWO
