About this Apprenticeship
Germany needs safe highways – and we need you for that! You ensure safety, reliability, and trust in the German highway network. You take responsibility for people and large machines. In doing so, you monitor and eliminate various hazards on and beside the highway and are responsible for signage and green maintenance as well as winter service in the cold season. What You'll Learn
- Instruction and leadership of the crew in carrying out tasks according to the service schedule for road maintenance on federal highways in the respectively valid version including preparation and follow-up
- Tasks according to the training regulation and framework curriculum for the road maintenance worker occupation as well as the requirements of the service schedule for road operations on federal highways in the respectively valid version
- General administrative tasks
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a road maintenance worker or with company-internal examination as a road maintenance worker or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience with a focus on road maintenance in operational road service
- Valid driving license class C/CE
- Negotiation-proficient German language skills
