Crew Leader Motorway Maintenance Depot Vöhringen

Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for a crew leader for the Vöhringen motorway maintenance depot. You ensure safety and reliability on the motorway network, take responsibility for people and large machinery, remove hazards, and handle signage, green space maintenance and winter service.

• Leading the crew for repair and maintenance of the road body, ancillary facilities and accessories of the motorway
• Preparing work and crew reports and checking the accuracy of records using IT (daily report app)
• Helping with structure monitoring and acceptance of long-term work sites (AlD)
• Working in winter service as shift leader and, if needed, on the vehicle
• General administrative tasks such as helping with inventories and delivery note checks, occupational safety management; monitoring and inspection tasks in the depot's road network

• Completed vocational training as a road maintenance worker (Straßenwärter) (f/m/d) or successfully passed the administration's own exam as a road maintenance worker (f/m/d) with corresponding training, or a comparable qualification or equivalent suitability gained through similar professional experience
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a road maintenance worker (f/m/d)
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on-call duty, and to drive company vehicles, including in winter service
• Knowledge of road maintenance operations
• Fluent German skills
• Class CE driving licence
• Desirable: IT skills in SAP, Windows Office from Windows 11
• Desirable: Basic knowledge of occupational safety
• Desirable: Authorization to operate work machines such as forklifts and wheel loaders
• Desirable: Authorization to operate equipment (chainsaw, brush cutter, self-propelled mowers)
