Landscape Planner

To support the team in the Environmental Planning and Land Acquisition department, Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for a landscape planner (f/m/d) as soon as possible at its Heilbronn branch office. Pay is based on pay group E12 under the MTV-Autobahn.

• Prepare landscape planning reports for draft and execution planning (UVS, LBP/LAP, saP, FFH and SPA assessments, special ecological and faunal reports) within road and civil engineering projects
• Award, manage and review landscape planning services, including coordinating external experts and environmental consultancies
• Support and coordinate all environmental stakeholders throughout the planning process, including authorities, specialist agencies and project partners
• Prepare environmental and legal statements and obtain nature conservation permits and exemptions (including coordination with legal and permitting authorities)
• Prepare and present decision documents to permitting authorities and other parties
• Tender and supervise landscape maintenance measures such as planting and compensation and replacement measures

• Completed degree in nature conservation and landscape planning or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in landscape planning in nature conservation and landscape management, ideally in engineering firms or public administration
• Sound technical, legal and methodological knowledge of project-related environmental and landscape planning (EU law, BNatSchG, species protection law, UVPG, relevant EC directives)
• Experience in preparing landscape planning reports such as species protection reports, LBP/LAP, UVS, FFH and SPA assessments
• Good knowledge of flora and fauna as well as knowledge of procurement law (HOAI, VOB)
• Confident use of GIS and CAD programs, driving licence class B and willingness to travel within the branch area
