Winter Service Worker at the Kist Motorway Maintenance Depot

To support our team at the Kist motorway maintenance depot, we are looking for a winter service worker (f/m/d) from 01.11.2026 on a fixed-term basis for a maximum of 6 months. You help keep the German motorway network safe, reliable and trusted, and you take responsibility for people and large machines.

• Snow clearing and gritting
• Tree and shrub work and green space maintenance
• Cleaning work along the motorway, e.g. drainage pipes and ditches
• Traffic safety measures and clearing accident sites

• A successfully completed trade apprenticeship in construction, agriculture, forestry or gardening and landscaping
• Manual skill and good technical understanding
• Health suitable for physical work outdoors in all weather
• Willingness to work shifts
• Driving licence class C/CE with no tonnage restriction
• Living no more than 30 minutes from the motorway maintenance depot
• Enjoyment of working in a team
• High resilience, decisiveness and commitment
• Strong social and communication skills
• Committed, reliable, responsible and independent way of working
