About this Apprenticeship
To support our team at the Central Control Center Zella-Mehlis, we are looking for you as an Operator (f/m/d) fixed-term until 31.05.2030 with the option of permanent employment, starting at the earliest possible date.
What You'll Learn
- Event management: Recognizing events (e.g., assistance, accident, fire, etc.) or receiving event notifications, initiating hazard prevention measures for personal rescue and maintaining infrastructure function
- Tunnel monitoring: Ensuring tunnel operations in normal and fault conditions, monitoring and controlling operational technical systems
- Ensuring traffic flow in the area of road tunnels
- Monitoring and controlling traffic technical systems
- Cooperation with authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS)
- Recording, classifying, forwarding fault reports
- Central contact person for the road maintenance service
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, communications technology or transport engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics or related fields or equivalent suitability acquired through professional experience
- general technical understanding, especially in the field of electrical and transport engineering
- Willingness to work in 24/7 shift operation
