Technician Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics for Tunnel Monitoring

To support our team at the Central Operations Control Center Zella-Mehlis, we are looking for you as soon as possible as a Technician Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics for Tunnel Monitoring (f/m/d).

• Event management: Recognizing events (e.g., assistance, accident, fire, etc.) or receiving event reports, initiating hazard prevention measures for personal rescue and maintaining infrastructure function
• Tunnel monitoring: Ensuring tunnel operations in normal and fault conditions, monitoring and controlling operational technical systems
• Ensuring traffic flow in the area of road tunnels
• Monitoring and controlling traffic technical systems
• Cooperation with authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS)
• Recording, classifying, forwarding fault reports
• Central contact person for the road maintenance service of the highway maintenance offices

• Completed training as a state-certified technician (f/m/d) in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, communication technology or traffic engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics or related fields or equivalent suitability acquired through professional experience
• General technical understanding, particularly in the field of electrical and traffic engineering
• Willingness to work in 24/7 shift service
• Knowledge of: Directive for Equipment and Operation of Road Tunnels (RABT), Alarm and Hazard Prevention Planning (AGAP) specific to each tunnel, Directive for Securing Construction Sites (RSA), GSC View (image storage) for evaluation, StVO, Traffic Computer Thuringia, WinCC (process visualization), FIS (Vehicle Information System), SWIS (Road and Weather Information System), Magicguard (emergency call system for bridge inspectors), Electronic Diary
