About this Apprenticeship
To support its operations service in the Southern Bavaria branch, Autobahn GmbH is looking for a career changer to become a road maintenance worker (m/f/d) at the Hohenbrunn motorway maintenance depot, starting as soon as possible. You help keep the motorway network safe, check for and remove hazards, and are responsible for signage, green space care and winter service. The initial contract is limited to 15 months and includes a qualification programme. Pay is in pay group 4 of the TV-Autobahn, and in pay group 6 after passing the programme exam.
What You'll Learn
- Help carry out road maintenance and repair work, and the upkeep, care and cleaning of the road body and ancillary facilities
- Help secure and inspect work sites and accident sites
- Drive, operate and maintain small vehicles, machines and equipment
- Help carry out winter service work
Requirements
- Successfully completed skilled trade training, preferably in construction, agriculture, forestry or horticulture, and willingness to take part in the qualification programme in road maintenance services
- Driving licence class B and C/CE, or willingness to obtain the C/CE licence at the employer's expense
- Willingness to drive company vehicles
- Physical fitness
- Willingness to work shifts and on-call duty in winter and summer service
