Service Technician, Operations and Traffic Technology

Die Autobahn GmbH is looking for a service technician in operations and traffic technology as soon as possible. The role helps ensure the safe operation of technical systems along Germany's federal motorways and supports the future of motorway infrastructure.

• Ensure the operational and safety-related technical systems along the federal motorways function reliably
• Commission, operate, inspect, maintain and repair technical systems
• Analyze faults, systematically locate problems and resolve disruptions
• Carry out measurements and ensure the reliable operation of radio, remote-control, transmission, telephony, climate-control, tunnel and traffic technology, as well as road-condition and weather information systems
• Maintain and update technical records, plans and technical data

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering or a comparable qualification, technical knowledge and practical experience
• Strong practical skills in information and communications technology, industrial engineering and radio technology
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle and handheld radios and their application software
• Confident use of technical regulations and standards, including RSA, DIN and VDE standards, RWVZ/RWVA and TLS
• Ideally, knowledge of the Industrial Safety Regulation, HTML, network technology, programming and CAD software such as EPLAN, S-Plan or ALLPLAN
