Road Maintenance Worker at the Peißen Motorway Maintenance Depot

The Peißen motorway maintenance depot is looking for a road maintenance worker (f/m/d) as soon as possible. You ensure safety, reliability and trust on the German motorway network, check and remove hazards on and beside the motorway, and are responsible for signage, green space care and winter service in the cold season.

• Repair, upkeep, maintenance and care work on roads, bridges and their equipment
• Driving, operating and maintaining small vehicles, machines and equipment
• Cleaning roads and ancillary facilities, bridges and traffic islands
• Green space and shrub care
• Winter service activities with appropriate vehicles
• Traffic safety

• Successfully completed training as a road maintenance worker (f/m/d), road builder (f/m/d) or in a comparable relevant training occupation, or with an in-house certification as a road maintenance worker (f/m/d)
• Valid driver's license class CE
• Physical resilience and medical fitness
• Willingness to work shifts in summer and winter service as well as on-call duty
• Manual skills and technical understanding
• Responsible and reliable way of working
