Road Maintenance Worker with Advanced Duties

To support the team at the Hannover motorway maintenance depot, Autobahn GmbH is looking for a road maintenance worker with advanced duties as soon as possible. You ensure safety on the motorway network, check and remove hazards, and are responsible for signage, greenery care and winter service.

• Looking after technical facilities and equipment of the depot infrastructure (maintenance, care, monitoring, small equipment management, inspections, minor repairs)
• Support route inspections when needed
• Tasks in asset management and general administration (inventory records, incoming and outgoing goods checks, stocktaking)

• Completed training as a road maintenance worker or road builder, or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience
• Driving licence class C/CE and willingness to drive service vehicles
• Proof of authorization for UVV inspections
• Basic knowledge of maintenance, repair and upkeep of road equipment, operating construction machines, garden and green space care, and winter service
• Readiness for shift work in winter and summer service, weekend work and on-call duty
