About this Apprenticeship
To support the team at the Hittfeld motorway maintenance depot, Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for a road maintenance worker or road builder as soon as possible. Pay group E6 under the MTV-Autobahn.
What You'll Learn
- Carrying out all work related to road operations service and road maintenance
- Maintenance and repair work on roads, bridges, tunnels and their equipment
- Green space and woody plant care
- Traffic safety and winter service including on-call and possibly shift duty
Requirements
- Training as a road maintenance worker (f/m/d) or road builder (f/m/d)
- Work experience in road operations service or road construction
- Driving licence classes B and CE
- Willingness to drive company vehicles
- Willingness to take on on-call duty
- Loader crane, telescopic loader or chainsaw certificate is desirable
- Experience in winter service
- Commute ideally no more than 30 minutes to the maintenance depot
- Willingness to work outside regular working hours
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety
- High reliability, teamwork and helpfulness
- Manual skill, technical understanding and quick comprehension
- Resilience, commitment and willingness to perform
