Road Maintenance Worker or Road Builder, Offenburg Depot

Die Autobahn GmbH is seeking road maintenance workers or road builders for permanent positions starting as soon as possible at the Offenburg depot in Schutterwald, part of the Freiburg motorway maintenance centre. You help keep motorways safe through traffic safety work, maintenance, grounds care and winter services.

• Carry out traffic safety work and measures to secure work areas
• Maintain, repair and clean road surfaces, associated facilities, drainage systems and structures
• Maintain green spaces, shrubs and trees
• Take part in the year-round on-call rota
• Carry out maintenance at the depot and work in warehouse administration
• Carry out winter services, including snow clearing and gritting

• Successfully completed vocational training as a road maintenance worker or road builder
• Valid category CE driving licence and willingness to drive vehicles with a gross weight above 3.5 tonnes
• Practical skills and a good technical understanding
• Willingness to work shifts
• Physical stamina and fitness for physical outdoor work throughout the year
• Commitment, reliability, teamwork and flexibility are desirable
• A committed, reliable and responsible approach to work is desirable
• Computer skills are desirable
