Technician for Bridge and Structural Engineering

A functioning highway infrastructure is the guarantee that Germany remains mobile. To keep it that way, we need your expertise as a technician. Thousands of bridges, hundreds of tunnels, and countless ancillary facilities must be regularly inspected, maintained, and renewed. Traffic control and coordination of the operations service are also among the varied and exciting tasks of our employees. To support our team in the Major Projects Construction department, we are looking for you as soon as possible as a Technician for Bridge and Structural Engineering (m/f/d).

• Execution planning of small maintenance measures on earthworks, traffic and engineering structures including clarification of the task and creation of structural sketches
• Coordination of external engineering offices within the scope of technical planning
• Preparation and creation of tender documents for smaller maintenance measures as well as coordination of all technically involved parties
• Contract processing of new construction and renovation measures including quality assurance and documentation
• Local construction supervision to ensure execution in accordance with contract and planning
• Acceptance of construction services including testing of materials, components, changes, and construction progress

• Degree as a state-certified construction technician or equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in bridge and structural engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations (HOAI, HVA-F-StB, VOB, ZTV-ING, RiZ-ING, RAB-ING)
• Negotiation-proficient German skills in word and writing
• Proficient use of MS-Office, iTWO, and SIB-BW
• Class B driver's license for official trips
• Committed, reliable, responsible, independent way of working
