Project Engineer Permitting

For our Environment, Raw Materials, Real Estate department we are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) Permitting in Linz am Rhein, full-time, starting immediately. Want to join us? Without you, nothing works – because you coordinate and manage permitting procedures for our quarry sites in accordance with legal regulations (e.g. Federal Mining Act, Federal Immission Control Act, Building Code, Water Resources Act, etc.). Your input is needed – because you support the permitting process in the strategic and technical planning and execution of new construction, expansion, conversion and dismantling projects (e.g. processing plants / PV systems and mining concepts). You keep a cool head – when developing area concepts, extraction, dump and operational road planning and feasibility studies. You have the overview – and participate in the planning and exploration of deposits.

You have a successfully completed university degree, preferably in mining, geology, geosciences or environmental engineering. You have at least three years of professional experience in a comparable position. Industry-specific or field-specific knowledge in the building materials industry is an advantage. You are proficient in MS Office, especially MS Word / MS Excel. It is desirable if you have already gained initial experience with mining-specific software (e.g. Auto-PLAN, Surpac, QGIS, etc.). Strong communication skills, combined with enjoyment of interacting with colleagues, characterize you. Your strengths include organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. You hold a valid class B driver's license.
