System Engineer* Workspace

Planning, provisioning and operation of modern Windows workplace environments (Windows 10/11 and Server 2019 & 2022) based on a centralized Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) infrastructure. Taking over 3rd-level support for complex issues in workplace provisioning, user environment and software deployment. Software deployment using Aagon ACMP and Ivanti DSM. Maintenance and further development of thin client infrastructure based on IGEL OS. Automation and standardization of processes around the digital workplace using PowerShell.

Successfully completed training as IT specialist (system integration), IT system electronics technician or a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable field. Experience in cross-team central data center operation with cross-team responsibilities, ideally in banking environment. Teamwork, open communication, independent structured work, documentation. Experience in provision and maintenance of modern workplace solutions based on Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2016, 2019 & 2022). Sound knowledge of Citrix CVAD, Citrix Gateway and Citrix Provisioning Services as well as Ivanti User Workspace Manager. Basic understanding of central software distribution mechanisms, knowledge of Aagon ACMP and/or Ivanti DSM an advantage. Know-how in thin clients, ideally with IGEL OS. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation of routine tasks and efficiency improvement. Good German and English skills written and spoken.
