M&A Deal Sourcing Specialist

In Mergers & Acquisitions we identify and assess growth opportunities and support company transactions from the first analysis to integration. As an M&A Deal Sourcing Specialist you identify and qualify potential acquisition candidates in the German skilled trades market, analyse markets and companies, approach business owners directly and build long-term relationships. You hand qualified opportunities over to the M&A transaction team. You can help build a data- and AI-supported deal sourcing. Start as soon as possible.

• You identify potential targets for an investment in the German skilled trades market and analyse markets, competitors and succession trends
• You prepare well-founded company profiles, market analyses and pre-briefings for management and the M&A team
• You develop outreach strategies and build relationships with business owners, multipliers and relevant networks
• You qualify acquisition opportunities and coordinate first conversations with potential takeover candidates
• You develop new sourcing channels and use modern AI tools to identify and generate qualified contacts
• You maintain and prioritise our target company pipeline and ensure high data quality and complete documentation in MS Dynamics 365 Sales

• Experience in sales, business development, account management or a comparable role
• You like to approach business owners and decision-makers, convince with strong communication and feel confident in cold calling
• You think entrepreneurially and are interested in business models, company development and succession solutions
• You speak the language of the trades and can communicate with M&A advisors as equals; ideally you have experience or contact with the trades or construction industry
• A good sense for digital acquisition and lead generation processes and enthusiasm for AI applications and modern technologies
• Very good German skills, spoken and written
