M&A Deal Sourcing Specialist

As an M&A Deal Sourcing Specialist, you identify and qualify potential acquisition targets in the German skilled trades market. You analyse markets and companies, build relationships with business owners and networks, and pass qualified acquisition opportunities to the M&A transaction team. You also help develop deal sourcing supported by data and AI.

• You identify potential investment targets in the German skilled trades market and analyse markets, competitors, and business succession trends.
• You prepare detailed company profiles, market analyses, and preliminary briefings for management and the M&A team.
• You develop outreach strategies and build relationships with business owners, influential contacts, and relevant networks.
• You qualify acquisition opportunities and coordinate initial discussions with potential takeover targets.
• You develop new sourcing channels and use modern AI tools to identify and generate qualified contacts.
• You maintain and prioritise our pipeline of target companies and ensure high data quality and complete records in MS Dynamics 365 Sales.

• You have experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar role.
• You enjoy approaching business owners and decision makers, communicate persuasively, and feel confident making sales calls.
• You think like an entrepreneur and are interested in business models, company development, and business succession solutions.
• You understand the skilled trades and can also communicate confidently with M&A advisers. Ideally, you already have experience or connections in the skilled trades or construction industry.
• You understand digital customer acquisition and lead generation processes and are enthusiastic about AI applications and modern technology.
• You have very good spoken and written German.
