Internship / Thesis Systems & Requirements Engineering

On 400,000 m², CLAAS Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen develops, tests and manufactures combine harvesters, forage harvesters and system tractors at the main plant in Harsewinkel. With more than 2,000 colleagues, we are the largest company in the CLAAS Group and take on cross-company and cross-country tasks in production, research and development as well as in numerous commercial areas.

• Participation in the group-wide establishment of model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
• Contribution to the development of processes, methods and training in the area of requirements engineering, system modeling and system validation
• Configuration of MBSE software tools such as Siemens Polarion and Cameo Systems Modeller according to user needs and construction of demonstrators
• Support in the application of methods and tools for the development projects of the entire CLAAS product family

• Ongoing studies in the field of (business) engineering, (business) computer science or a comparable degree program
• First experience in the development of complex mechatronic products desirable
• First knowledge in systems engineering (e.g. requirements engineering, system architectures, verification & validation, etc.)
• Knowledge of Siemens Polarion, Enterprise Architect and/or Cameo Systems Modeller/CATIA Magic advantageous
• Interest in improving work methods and getting to know agile software development
• Very good German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office programs
• Openness, team and communication skills as well as independent, structured way of working
