Dual Study Program in Business Administration Specializing in Insurance, Bachelor of Arts

During your dual study program, you will get to know diverse tasks and receive intensive supervision. The total of six theoretical phases at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim (DHBW) each last approximately three months. You attend lectures in small groups of about 25 students. The lecturers at the Cooperative State University are professors, lecturers from universities and universities of applied sciences, as well as qualified practitioners. The program lasts three years. Variety: Not just studying business administration, but specializing directly. The dual study program with the specialization "Insurance" focuses on business administration, economics, law, insurance studies, financial services marketing, as well as topics such as personal and property insurance, industrial insurance, insurance law, risk management, and sales management. Look forward to diverse tasks: You will rotate through various specialist and staff departments during your practical phases, allowing you to directly apply the knowledge acquired at DHBW in practice. Look beyond the horizon: In addition to various projects, you can look forward to interesting trainee events where you learn about our corporate culture and values and get to know the other locations of the insurance group. Semesters 1-5: You alternate approximately three months at DHBW Mannheim and three months in various departments of Mannheimer. Semester 6: You complete your bachelor's thesis and colloquium and receive the academic degree Bachelor of Arts.

School leaving certificate: You have Abitur (university entrance qualification) or Fachhochschulreife (university of applied sciences entrance qualification) – or will obtain the school leaving certificate by the start of the program. Willingness to perform: You enjoy learning new things, show initiative, and have the willingness to perform to successfully complete your studies within three years. Communication skills: You are a team player, have good expressive abilities, and enjoy interacting with people. Good comprehension: You have strong analytical thinking skills. Customer orientation: You enjoy dealing with customers.

Attractive training remuneration DH Mannheim: Already in the first training year 1,532 euros gross per month – and your remuneration increases every year! In the second training year we pay you 1,620 euros, in the third 1,716 euros monthly. We also cover travel and accommodation costs for seminar attendance, semester fees, and further support services such as study grants.
