Apprenticeship as Insurance and Financial Investment Clerk in Internal Service (Start 2027)

During your apprenticeship, you will learn the diverse tasks of an insurance and financial investment clerk in the Customer Service Center Hannover. You will put your theoretical knowledge from vocational school directly into practice. The apprenticeship usually lasts three years. With good performance, you can shorten it by half a year. After graduation, you will be able to take on a responsible position.

You process applications: You learn how applications are checked and processed. Prompt claims settlement: We teach you how to properly check and process claims settlements. Friendly and empathetic customer service: From advice on the insurance application and contract to the payment of benefits, you advise our customers by phone or email. Look forward to varied tasks: You gain insights into the diverse insurance sectors, especially health and life insurance, and therefore regularly change work areas. Exciting seminars: At seminars at our headquarters in Dortmund, you meet many apprentices from other locations and learn about all insurance sectors as well as tips and tricks for successful customer communication.

School leaving certificate: You have a secondary school diploma (Mittlere Reife), technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife), or general university entrance qualification (Abitur) – or will obtain it by the start of the apprenticeship. Communication skills: Your open and communicative nature sets you apart. Commitment and empathy: You enjoy dealing with our customers. In doing so, you learn to better understand the insured and their needs. Teamwork: With your reliability and willingness to contribute, you are a valuable team member.
