About this Apprenticeship
Three year nursing apprenticeship in Schönheide, with a possible start in August 2027. Classroom learning and practical training cover nursing, health sciences, natural sciences, humanities and social sciences. Practical training takes place mainly in a care home near where you live, with placements in home care and inpatient care. You can choose to specialise in elderly care in the final year.
What You'll Learn
- You independently support and care for people of all ages to improve, maintain and restore their physical and mental health.
- You train mainly in an elderly care facility near where you live.
- You also complete placements in home care and inpatient facilities.
Requirements
- Empathetic, reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in medical, nursing and social tasks
- An intermediate school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or an equivalent completed ten year school education, or
- A Hauptschulabschluss school leaving qualification with a completed two year vocational qualification, or
- A Hauptschulabschluss school leaving qualification and completed training as an elderly care or nursing assistant
