Apprenticeship as Nursing Professional in our outpatient care

Formerly known as training in general, elderly and pediatric nursing. Training can start in March, April, June, August, September, October and November. As a nursing professional you independently support and care for people of all ages to promote, maintain and restore their physical and mental health. The training lasts three years and offers a mix of theory and practice. You are mainly trained in an elderly care facility near you and also work in outpatient care and in inpatient facilities. In the last year you decide whether to continue with general nursing training (degree as nursing professional) or specialize in elderly care (degree as elderly care nurse).

• intermediate school certificate (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent completed 10-year school education or
• lower secondary school certificate with completed 2-year vocational training or
• lower secondary school certificate and completed training as elderly or nursing care assistant
