Buyer / Procurement Partner Office & Facility

DATEV's procurement team ensures that goods and services are purchased to meet business needs. In this role, you represent DATEV's requirements to contractors and potential suppliers and implement the procurement strategy with a focus on construction services.

• Develop and implement category and procurement strategies for construction services, taking market conditions, costs and risks into account
• Independently manage complex tenders for construction services and negotiate and conclude framework agreements and individual contracts
• Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships, including supplier assessment, development and risk management
• Analyse procurement markets, costs and performance data and recommend strategic actions to management and business departments
• Provide strategic advice to internal business partners on purchasing projects and improve procurement processes and structures

• Several years of practical experience in strategic procurement, ideally for construction services, and the ability to develop lasting procurement and category strategies based on demand and market and industry trends
• A completed degree in Business or Economics, equivalent further training or a comparable relevant qualification
• Sound business and legal knowledge of purchasing construction services, applied confidently to complex purchasing decisions and the design of contract and supplier arrangements
• Ability to manage complex matters independently, develop strategic options and work with relevant stakeholders to put them into practice
• Confident use of SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft 365, using relevant data to manage your categories strategically
• You will learn the DATEV procurement processes and category management knowledge needed for your role during onboarding
• You will learn to use the relevant internal systems and applications through practical training within the category team
