Buyer / Procurement Partner Software & Communications

At DATEV in Nuremberg, as a buyer or procurement partner you take on tasks in tactical IT purchasing for software. You represent DATEV's requirements toward contract partners and potential suppliers and help carry out the purchasing strategy.

• Taking on tasks in tactical IT purchasing for software, including selected operational activities, within the commodity group strategy
• Partnership with the Lead Procurement Partner as contact for internal stakeholders and advice on purchasing questions
• Creating tenders, evaluating offers and solution concepts and supporting negotiations of complex framework agreements with global providers
• Preparing work results for management and presenting them to the target audience; using internal data sources to derive recommendations
• Responsibility for system maintenance, order processing and contract renewals

• You have solid knowledge of economic and legal issues, for example gained through a degree in business law or economics, relevant further training or a comparable qualification.
• You have practical experience in purchasing and can assess current developments and methods in the purchasing field and apply them to concrete procurement situations.
• You can communicate confidently in English on professional and technical topics, orally and in writing (at least level B2).
• You can structure and prioritize tasks independently, derive the necessary steps and reliably achieve agreed results.
• You can confidently use SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA for relevant purchasing processes as well as Microsoft 365 applications in your daily work.
