About this Apprenticeship
In the Data & AI Team (DnA), you help make data and domain knowledge usable for data and AI applications. As a working student (m/f/d) with a focus on Semantic Layer and Knowledge Graphs, you support the DnA team in describing domain terms, data, and their relationships in a structured way. Together with the team, you work on semantic models and prototypical solutions for concrete use cases. We look forward to your student support if you are in a bachelor's or master's program.
What You'll Learn
- Help the DnA team build a semantic layer, map data sources to business terms and develop consistent definitions for specific use cases
- Take an interest in how technical systems work and learn to use new digital tools
- Communicate complex content clearly and develop and present creative ideas
- Research semantic technologies and knowledge graphs, document models and prepare training formats
- Help build and test prototype semantic links for AI applications
- Join DATEV's communities of practice, share experience and encourage knowledge sharing
- Help with further development and create learning opportunities for employees
Requirements
- Studying Business Informatics, Computer Science or a similar subject and interested in applying theoretical knowledge in practice
- Interest in ontologies, semantic layers and knowledge graphs, and in using structured knowledge for data and AI applications
- Some programming skills, preferably in Python, and ideally basic SQL skills
- Initial experience processing and structuring data is welcome
- Some exposure to data or knowledge modeling, or willingness to learn about these topics
- Knowledge of RDF, RDFS, OWL or SPARQL is a plus but not required
- Enjoy understanding business relationships, defining terms precisely and organizing complex information clearly
- Communicate clearly, ask questions and listen
- Explain technical topics clearly to people without a technical background and present ideas and results to suit the audience
- Enjoy teamwork and show initiative, care and reliability
