About this Apprenticeship
Debeka is one of the top five insurance and building society providers in Germany and is looking for support with investment accounting in asset management.
What You'll Learn
- Accounting for capital investments (recognition, presentation, valuation)
- Ongoing monitoring of the income effects within capital investments
- Assessment of accounting law questions in the new product process
- Coordination with and interface to investment controlling, reporting, and equity investment controlling
- Assessment of special commercial law topics in the investment area
- Establishing process workflows
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics with a focus on finance, accounting, bookkeeping or auditing
- Several years of professional experience in auditing, ideally with experience in accounting for capital investments or accounting for capital investments at an insurance company or bank
- Sound knowledge of accounting under HGB and/or IFRS
- Independent, goal-oriented and self-reliant way of working
- Willingness to take on responsibility
