The DEKRA Electrical and Building Technology division combines expertise and versatility: We test safety-technical systems and accompany innovative projects in renewable energies. Our regional teams ensure the safety of industrial plants and buildings, focusing on environmental protection and sustainability as core values.
What You'll Learn
- As a technical expert, you advise building owners, architects, specialist planners and construction companies on all questions of preventive fire protection
- You are responsible for the construction-accompanying inspection and assurance of the proper implementation of fire protection measures
- Furthermore, you create fire protection certificates and fire protection concepts for special buildings as well as precise and meaningful expert opinions
- In your region, you work independently or in a team with colleagues and are supported by qualified back-office staff
- In doing so, you use your network to expand the customer base and business development
Requirements
- Academic university degree in civil engineering, architecture, safety engineering or a comparable field
- Professional experience in planning, construction and operation of buildings and technical building equipment
- Additional qualification in preventive fire protection or training for at least the higher fire service and recognition as fire service expert for preventive fire protection or a comparable degree from a state fire service school desirable
- Professional experience in preventive and defensive fire protection as well as sound knowledge of relevant building regulations
- Expressiveness to create meaningful and precise reports and expert opinions
- Negotiation-proof German language skills in written and spoken form required
- Independent, reliable and flexible way of working
- Routine handling of MS Office and mobile apps
- Class B driving license and willingness to work in field service around your place of residence
